increase the Apple Macbook Air Life

The maintenance or repair cost for mac is very high when we compare to laptops here are few steps we recommend you can follow and can expect a better performance and increase the life of a macbook air. I’ve use Apple Macbook Pro Retina & Apple Macbook Air Personally for many years and here is my experience.

1. Battery Charging: Always make sure you charge you device for 100% and drain till 10% and the recharge again, Never keep it on charging all the time by completing this cycle you are making battery more effective to hold the charge and get it charge.
2. Use Right OS: As i aways say go with what is your requirement never do OS Upgrade as soon you get Notification always wait at least for a month before you upgrade while upgrade a higher macOS always check if you hardware can run smooth on it the latest OS (Right now there is MacOS mojave available but as i have a 4GB RAM i have not updated from El Capitan) does the latest os matter your work?? what additional feature new os has? do yo have need for it example many have enabled the SIRI on mac and do not use by doing this you are making one function running in the background which will consume the mac resources which can impact on performance.
3. 60% Battery: Whenever you plan not to use your macbook for more then 3 days make sure you have 60% of battery charged and turned off when you keep 60%-65% is best very important never leave you macbook with less then 10% battery for more then 2 days.
4. Charging Port Heating: While charging keep an eye on charging port heating when ever you feel its heating lot disconnect and connect back after 1 min mac’s can become hot while charging.
5. 3 PIN Cable: Always use 3 pin cable for the macbook charger generally you get a 2 pin charger when you buy a new mac you can always purchase a new or use macbook charger 3 pin cable, it will give you earthing which can eliminate the vibration feeling you get when you put on charging(That Vibration is actually a current which flow all over mac as these devices are build with aluminium metal)
6. Battery Replacement Warning: Whenever you get “Service Battery Message Notification” get the battery change asap as using the damaged battery may damage the some other component.
7. Protection Cover: Never put that protection cover on it as it will make you mac heat faster and eventually decrease the performance also these protection cover has a weight which can make the hinges loose due to its weight.
