Apple has finally considered the flaw in the keyboard of new MacBook Pro retina 2016 & 2017. Apple launched a keyboard repair program for MacBook Pro models 2015, 2016 & 2017 equipped with butterfly keyboards to address complaints about letters or characters that repeat randomly, letters or characters that do not appear when key pressed, and keys that feel “sticky” or do not respond

According to Apple, a “small percentage” of MacBook and MacBook Pro keyboards from 2015 to 2017 can experience these symptoms. Apple says the customer can bring the faulty device which has above keyboard malfunction and get the replace or repair the parts for free of charge, the repair can be with entire keyboard replacement or just the nonworking keys depend on the issue.

Eligible Models

To identify your computer’s model and to see if it is eligible for this program, choose Apple () menu > About This Mac. Eligible models are listed below.

• MacBook (Retina, 12­-inch, Early 2016)
• MacBook (Retina, 12-­inch, 2017)

No other Mac will be covered under this program to get started with process one must contact Apple Authorize Centre or Reseller makes an appointment with the Apple retail store submit the device so they can diagnose the keyboard any additionally work like physical damage or water damage customer has to pay additional repair fees for the same.
